Rescue operations are going on throughout the night. A 60 feet excavation has been done parallel to the borewell.
Masum fell into a 160 feet deep borewell at around 3.30 pm on Friday. Nirmala, the mother of the innocent child, says that we have faith in God. Our baby will be out in no time.
The rescue team is digging the borewell with 8 JCB machines in parallel. Currently no movement of the baby is seen. It is being said that it has sunk deeper due to silting on top of it.

Continuous efforts are being made to save 6-year-old Mayank who fell into a borewell in Madhya Pradesh’s Rewa. Mayank’s rescue operation has been going on for 18 hours continuously. So far the tunnel has been excavated up to 60 feet. Now a team of SDRF and NDRF will mark the borewell and dig it by hand.
As soon as the incident of a 6-year-old innocent child falling into a borewell was reported in a village in Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh, all the administrative teams, including the Rewa district administration, became active and reached the spot. After which a rescue operation was started to save the child.

More than 8 different JCB machines have been deployed to rescue the 6-year-old child Mayank, through which efforts are being made to build a tunnel next to the borewell. While the children are being monitored by CCTV cameras, oxygen gas is also being fed through a pipeline inside the borewell so that they can get oxygen.

Rescue operation is going on at the spot with the help of Rewa Collector, Police Officer, SDRF and NDRF team. The child trapped inside the borewell is said to be named Mayank.
The child has been trapped in the borewell for about 18 hours. At the site, 8 JCBs are busy digging parallel borewells. It is being said that the movement of the baby is currently undetectable, which has raised the concern of the administration.
